We're Live!

I am twiddling my thumbs waiting for the newest arrivals at the Tacoma & Pierce County Humane Society. Their Foster Coordinator tells me their numbers are down from last year which is GREAT news for the community. It tells them that their trap-neuter-release (TNR) programs are hopefully working. However, it also means I must wait longer until I can foster.

"Kitten season" sounds nice...but for the kittens it is anything but cute! Kitten season refers to the warmer months, when cats are breeding and huge numbers of kittens are being born outdoors. Sadly, many kittens become orphaned and do not survive. You can help save kittens by spaying and neutering cats, by fostering for your local shelter, or by making a donation to your local humane society or animal rescue organizations to support rescue efforts all kitten season long. Every bit helps! Please visit my Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/KittenHotel
